A community outreach focused on engaging and supporting young people within the Okujagu community.
1. The Need
Geographic isolation in riverine settlements frequently results in limited access to adolescent health guidance, educational supplies, and structured youth mentorship programmes.
2. What We Did
ADOPT facilitated community health awareness workshops, distributed school starter backpacks and hygiene packs, and hosted interactive teen leadership circles.
3. Who We Reached
Adolescents, children, and community youth groups across the Okujagu riverine settlement.
4. The Outcome
Improved health awareness, direct supply of learning materials, and strengthened grassroots engagement channels for continuous youth support.
